National History Day

Picture
National History Day is a competition that is held on local, state, and national levels.  Here at Classen School of Advanced Studies we take a lot of pride in sending a substaintial amount of students on to compete on all three levels.

This years theme isDebate & Diplomacy: Successes, Failures, Consequences.

In this course, History Day is worth 500 points! It is very important that students keep up with the due dates of the project.  It will be virtually impossible to complete a quality project at the last minute.  But don't be alarmed :-) there will be check points and due dates to help guide students through their projects.  The final project will not be due until after Winter Break, but research on these topics will begin in September.

It PAYS to COMPETE! No, students do not have to compete in any of the contests. But students who do compete and go on to place on district, state, and national levels will receive additional points for their time, effort, and creativity.

Please feel free to visit www.nationalhistoryday.org for further information.

Current due dates are pending...
